Chesham Theatre Company was founded in 1947, and celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in 2007. Currently we have around 60 members, of widely varying age, talents and experience, united by a lively interest in amateur drama.

We normally mount three productions a year, one at the Elgiva Theatre in Chesham, one at the Little Theatre by the Park and one outdoors. We have occasional social events, and members meet for a club night, or a play rehearsal, each Monday evening at 8pm in the Little Theatre.

We welcome new members, whether their interests be in acting, directing, backstage, technical or administrative work, or just to belong! Our annual membership fee is £30 for adults, £15 for juniors (age 16 to under 18), under-16s free of charge. All members who perform onstage must pay a show levy of £10 for adults, £5 for juniors, for each production in which they appear, as a contribution to the cost of mounting the show. Backstage and front-of-house crew do not pay a levy.
